Somerset, NJ February 1 – Oticon, Inc. today introduced Go Pro,
an expanded line of entry-level digital offerings with features
previously found only in high-end hearing instruments. The new line of
digital instruments delivers the benefits of clear digital sound
quality, high reliability and ease of use for people with mild and
moderate to severe and profound hearing losses. New Go Pro’s
unprecedented array of features including proprietary Open Ear
Acoustics, Noise Reduction, Dynamic Feedback Cancellation, multiple
channels and directionality represent significant added value to users.
“Go Pro is the most extensively featured hearing instrument within
affordable basic hearing care options now available to hearing care
professionals,” states Peer Lauritsen, President of Oticon, Inc. “Go Pro
is easy to fit and reliable, enhancing client satisfaction with improved
comfort levels, speech-to-noise ratio, cosmetics and maintenance.”
Speech Intelligibility and Listening Comfort
Go Pro features Oticon’s proven OpenEar Acoustics. The system’s
effective Dynamic Feedback Cancellation technology enables increased
vent size, an advanced technology previously available only in the
highest quality hearing aids. In addition to reducing or eliminating
occlusion, this system preserves the important characteristics of more
natural hearing, making it easier for first time users to adapt to their
new hearing aids. More experience users will instantly notice and
appreciate the benefits that OpenEar Acoustics provides including relief
from occlusion and feedback.
Go Pro offers outstanding reliability, fitting flexibility and a wide
choice of options and cosmetically attractive styles from the smallest
CICs to the most reliable BTEs in the award-winning shell design. Two
omni power styles have been added to extend the range to severe and
profound hearing losses.
Go Pro BTEs are available with Oticon’s attractive and comfortable thin
tube solution Corda and an improved battery door, hinged with a steel
axle for maximum mechanical functionality.
The 100 percent digital Go Pro features multi-channel processing,
comfortable sound quality and superior fitting flexibility. Options
include volume control, programmable telecoil and directional
microphones.
